CLINICAL SUPERVISION

IMG_3158(1).jpg

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A SUPERVISOR IN PRIVATE PRACTICE?

Private practice is exciting, anxiety provoking and at times, isolating. Particularly if you have been used to working as part of a larger team.

For these reasons, choosing your supervisor is super important. I know I personally spoke with over 10 therapists before choosing the right fit for me.

I work mostly with newly qualified therapists to develop their clinical skills in CBT whilst leaving room for us to adjust supervision for individual need. I am BABCP accredited and can help support you to obtain your own accreditation or maintain it. I am as flexible as I can be and do offer additional or ad hoc appointments when needed.

Appointments are offered online via MS Teams or telephone.

I offer support that is beyond simply case management and discussing treatment plans alone. I am informal, just as I am with my own clients, and focus on our relationship to foster a space that is safe, non-judgemental and has a bit of banter thrown in.

I want to support you to find your own personal style in delivering CBT and build confidence working with clients that may not 'fit the model' all of the time. I believe this is especially important as society continues to change, our understanding of individual experiences and culture continues to develop and so our approach needs to be flexible and we as clinician's need to be open to change.
